RECEIPE: Caribbean Dry Fish w/ vegetables

Dry fish is one of the many popular dishes circulating in the Caribbeans.....

First, when you catch or purchase your full fish.....you want to split it from head to tail.....Then you want to clean out the insides.....Then you preserve the fish by covering it with salt.....Not so heavy that it will build up.....just enough to see that the two halves are covered in salt.....Then comes the tricky part.....Let it sit outside for a day or two( depending on the temperature).....if its 90 degrees or more.....a day will be fine.....the purpose is to dry out the fish.....

After that process.....you then wash as much salt off as you can......then proceed to boil the rest of the salt off.....After about 10 minutes, take out the fish and put it with your vegetables to cook.....Some Caribbeans put the fish inside of spinach and cook it with the vegetables.....The fish will be so tender that you can break it up and mix it in with your vegetables.....Tomatoes are recommended for a nice blend of tastes.

House OKs $819B stimulus bill with GOP opposition

On Wednesday night, the Democratic controlled House approved a historically huge $819 billion stumulus bill with spending increases and tax cut at the heart of President Obama's plan to help restore a hurt economy.....Included is money for traditional job-creating programs such as highway construction and mass transit projects.....Tens of billions of additional dollars would go to the states.....The centerpiece tax cut calls for a $500 break for single workers and $1,000 for couples, including those who don't earn enough to owe federal income taxes.....
A mere eight days after Inauguration Day, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the events heralded a new era. "The ship of state is difficult to turn," said the California Democrat. "But that is what we must do. That is what President Obama called us to do in his inaugural address."

The Sistine chapel ceiling frescoe is well-known amongst the religious and spiritual faithfuls.It has been interpreted by many as the painting of Adam and God, painted by Michelangelo, this extravagant piece of art illustrates the hand of God giving life to Adam or does it?

If you take a good look at the painting you will notice that the part that contains God and the angels is really a painting of a brain that contains the images of God and the angels. Can this be so? Could Michelangelo be telling us something thru his painting? Look at it very closely and you will see the border that surrounds God and the angels is a brain outline. Could that be the reason why Adam and God's finger are not touching?

Mariah trippin for not being on stage at Inauguration

Mariah Carey( Cannon) is vexed because she wasn't on stage with the first family..... Several rumors claimed that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were unable to attain assigned seats on the National Mall for the inauguration and therefore dipped on history.....Mariah was also rumored to being "pissed" because she wasnt on stage with Aretha Franklin.....I tell you, for some people it is really all about them.....i wonder what Nick Cannon was thinking and feeling while he was dragged out the event by his wrist.....

Obama's $3000 cell phone

It has finally arrived, President Obama's cell phone and appropriately nicknamed the "Barack Berry". President Obama's smartphone is a $3,350 device with all the bells and whistles. President Obama really wanted to keep his Blackberry, stating that they would have to "Pry it from my grip". He said it made him feel like he was connected to the world. That was one of the problems that Secret Service were worried about. They didnt want foreign espionage agencies to hack into his phone, or anyone hacking and releasing personal information......

The NSA has created a spy-proof BlackBerry alternative called Sectera Edge to prevent hacking. The cell phone is reportedly capable of encrypting top secret voice conversations and handling classified documents.

SUPERBOWL WEEK BEGINS

U know what im feeling when you are hosting the superbowl in your city.....electricity in the air.....Some people are geeked that they working in the same hotel that the players were in( mostly women).....I'm all about the parties.....There are gonna be many parties all over the city.....What more could you get ready and prepared for.....Many people treat this week like its spring break......They hit the gym hardcore and strive for their best.....Hey.....more power to them....

"THE SOUTH DOES IT AGAIN"!!

The 2009 NCAA college football Senior Bowl game was won by the south..... The south dominated to a score of 35-18..... Pat White was voted MVP of the Senior Bowl..... What can you really say about the dominance that the south has on college football..... When you think about great teams, the south has participants on that exclusive list.....There used to be a time when the NCAA had a game that involved the state of Florida( either play for a Florida school or come out of high school in Florida) against the United States. Florida squad won a majority of those games.....Its safe to say that we take football serious in the south.....

With us it starts in youth football.....we train kids and condition them to play at a level that comes easy to them.....Thats why i believe that if you are outside of the SEC, and ACC conferences.....you have to schedule one game against a SEC or ACC opponent.....That will slow down all these other conferences from claiming that they should have a BCS bid.....I feel that everyone should have a chance at a BCS bowl game.....but at least play tough opponents on the way to that bowl game.....

EXTORTION on TRAVOLTA

3 people from the Bahamas were detained in connection with a plot to extort $20m from John travolta and his wife Kelly Preston. The 3 people that were detained, but not charged, were
Senator Pleasant Bridgewater, ambulance driver Tarino Lightbourne, and parliament member Obie Wilchcombe. Officials report that they have some incriminating recordings on Bridgewater, but did not elaborate on the details. Lightbourne has come forward after the death of Travolta's son, claiming that he attempted to revive [Jett Travolta] before he was pronounced dead.
