Not Looking Good for Herbalife

Ever since Bill Ackman came out in the accusing of Herbalife of being a pyramid scheme the troubles have began and the stock have been dropping once hot company. Many people use Herbalife and say they made money, But that doesn't mean it's not a pyramid scheme.

What is a pyramid scheme you might ask? Well the pyramid scheme is any business that makes a majority of its money from people signing up opposed to people actually making money off the products.

Bill Ackman came out 2 years ago and claimed that Herbalife was a pyramid scheme. He spent $50M to try and get the company shut down and prove it was fraudulent, but had trouble convincing the government. Until recently. A video has surfaced that shows top distributors at Herbalife talking about how Herbalife is about selling the dream and selling a possibility of making money knowing that the likeliness would not happen.

98% of the people that use Herbalife average about $1. 50 an hour in earnings. The major markets for Herbalife users and distributors are Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, and Russia

All of their economies are having trouble with the money and a lot of the economy is based off oil strength.

Bucs Play Call a Loss in Carolina.

Before I start I need to state this so it can marinate with you. 93 yards rushing in the first half by Doug Martin, final stats  96 rushing yards.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers go into Carolina Panther territory and pull out another  gut wrenching loss filled with turnovers miss-ques and bad play calling.

As usual we start off the game strong dominating on both sides of the ball. It was at one point when the score was 7-6 Carolina had already ran 35+ plays to the Bucs14 plays. Our defense played lights out. Granted, Anderson is a back up, the Bucs held their run game to average and the passing game was targeted heavy with vicious blows to the receivers. Carolina struggled in every yard and every first down.

One thing about the Buccaneers this season is that in the first half they play championship football in 80% of the games. When that third quarter comes it's the Jekyll and Hyde effect. They become a whole different team. The Bucs came out in this game after the half and tried to attempt three straight passes and managed to have a turnover.

Like I stated above 93 yards in the first half and only three yards in the second half by Martin.

The Bucs running game was nice in the first half.  Martin broke a 66 your run up the middle behind Dietrich-smith and we never went back to that play again. We totalled 151 yards rushing at a 6.6 yards a carry.  We threw the ball mediocre. Mike "Big E" Evans showed up and did what he had to do. Catching a touchdown.

We got to V Jackson late in the game that helped us move the ball down the field.

A great contribution by Charles Sims helped the running game wear down the defense of the Panthers. McCown was decent running the ball, for a touchdown, being mobile when the pocket was breaking down. I don't really put emphasis on the offensive line when the play calls for 5 receivers to go out for a pass. I understand that moving backwards trying to stop a person full speed going forward could be difficult at times.

Any offensive lineman would want a quarterback that can help them and get out the way of a guy that might have beat them and got an underneath move on him.

A lot of people will blame McCown and say he just throws the pass is out there. I understand, but those are the times, that he shouldn't be throwing, is the issue. On 3rd and more than 6 it's understood that blitzes are going to come so you're not allowed to run a routes and get the first.

When we had the option to check out of the formation we continue to send 5 receivers out and that is when McCown had that so-called fumble that he pushed it open ball forward that gave position to Carolina. We need to adjust more and understand that 5 receivers do not have to go out all the time. Against Atlanta there was a time where eight people were blocking for Ryan.

I know Arroyo wasn't prepared for the role and he's never been an offensive coordinator but at times there has to be some type of agreement or disagreement between the OC and the head coach.

Next week the Green Bay Packers will visit the struggling Bucs in hopes to rebound from the Bills loss.

Is This A UFO?

I've watched this video and it seems legit. Some say it's a drone while some believe it's digitally added. I noticed the movement and the speed it was traveling. Unfortunately, I am not an expert in UFOs. Take a look and tell me what you think.

Bucs Lose to Lions, Lyin in Last Place

The visiting Buccaneers came out Sunday against the Detroit Lions, with the possibility of making the playoffs, and were handled by the D line of the Lions all game long. With that loss it officially eliminated the Buccaneers from postseason and puts us at a 2-11 record

McCown stayed under constant pressure. He was hit at least 15 times and hurried out the pocket 9 times. He dropped back 39 times in the game and was sacked 6 times for 43 yards. The one crazy stat is that we didn't get a first down by running the ball all game.

All game I was scratching my head trying to figure out why are we trying to drop back to pass so many times when our o-line is average and Detroit's d-line is above average. I understand it's Arroyo's first year as OC but through his playing careers he has to understand that if you're gaining four yards a carry you should stick with that more.

Doug Martin only had 5 carries for 22 yards. We had a total of 30 yards rushing for the game. We can't expect to keep winning games if we can't control the clock and keep the opponents offensive weapons off the field.

At times our passing game showed good signs of life. Vincent Jackson had 10 catches for 159 yards, and the longest being 50 yards.
Good times Evans had 4 catches for 45 yards and 2 touchdowns.

At times it seemed like the Lions rushed all 11 men towards McCown. They set a 5 man rush and created pressure all day.
What the Bucs didn't do is keep two RB's, in the backfield, for pass protection. It definitely was a tough outing for our offense.

Calvin Johnson had an elite game with eight catches for a hundred and fifty eight yards and one TD.

Our defense had a good game considering how long they were on the field. Lions possessed the ball for 36 minutes of the game.
We had 4 sacks on Stafford for 17 yards on his 34 drop backs.

The Bucs defense neutralize the high-powered Lions offense to 5.9 yards an offensive play while we only produced 3.9 yards a play.

In my opinion, it all falls on play calling. Situational play calling is important to make sure a play thrives at the right time. I understand that it's Marcus Arroyo's first time calling plays in the NFL but as an athlete of the game he has to know the rhythm of the course of the game. Knowing when to run and when to pass is important not just to play itself.

Highlights here

Next week we are at Carolina.

How do you feel about the Buccaneers output against the Lions?

Bucs Earn Stripes in Bengals Loss

Now I know many fans are going to be like "how do u earn anything in a loss?" What I'm trying to state is that the Bucs held a good Bengals team, that usually scores 21 or more points against good teams, to under 17 points. Bengals beat Baltimore this year scoring 26 pts. They beat Atlanta only scoring 24 pts. Buccaneers holding the Bengals down to 14 points is worth noting.

As far as producing points with the offense we still have a little bit of ways to go. First year OC Arroyo and the new system is slowly coming together.  Penalties have killed many drives, that looked like they were going to produce points, on the opponents side of the field.

The penalty for having 12 men on the field killed the game-winning drive that had the Bucs at the 20 yard line by a great catch from Louis Murphy jr. with 12 sec remaining.  The Buccaneers are tied for most penalties in the NFL.

The defense played great as usual. Bucs picked off Andy Dalton three times, sacked twice, and held them to a hundred and seventy six yards passing. The Bengals rushed for a hundred twelve yards.

A 13 yard touchdown pass to AJ Green gave the lead to the Bengals 14-10 in the third which ended up being all that they needed to win the game.

Considering our original OC Tedford is out for the year Arroyo, the quarterback coach, has done a decent job in getting the Bucs offense going. Finishing games are another thing. He's going through growing pains and he'll learn his situational play calling as he grows.

Do you think the Bucs should change their OC next year?
