One issue that is circulating through mainstream talk is the lack of taxes the wealthy have to pay in the United States. The people are saying that the rich should pony up some more money so they could pay their fair share of taxes according to the people. Where the conflict comes in is that the same government that the people are trying to shrink, is the same government they are trying to make bigger by feeding them money from tax payers.
Warren Buffet stated that his secretary pays more taxes, to the government, then he does. Well of course she does, she is doing less with her money then he is. As a small business owner, I'd rather have wealthy people invest in my company then having them pay that investment in taxes to the government. If more money goes into local businesses in the community, there is a chance more community upgrading can occur quicker.
MY OPINION: I think people should be more involved in their community and create businesses within the community with capital raised by the community.
Let's allow the government to do the job that the forefathers created them to do, to protect the people thru military only. Let us as a community uplift and upgrade out own backyards and create a more prosperous opportunity for our children in the future.
